nesessionmanager

Any advice on managing "nesessionmanager?" It runs often on my MacBook Air (Ventura 13.1 OS) and heats up my processor, causing the fan to run. Do I have to live with it or can I manage it to reduce its impact? It's currently using 96.8% of my CPU!

Do a Google search for "What is nesessionmanager on a Mac" and you'll get a plethora of findings which may help you solve your problem. I checked my system and had it but it wasn't running in Activity Monitor.

I found this description: nesessionmanager is part of the Network Extension framework. It is responsible for starting and stopping Network Extension sessions and for setting up and maintaining network configuration and policy associated with Network Extension sessions.
