apple id cant be used on my phone

Well, if you don’t remember that Apple ID you will never be able to use the activation-locked phone again. It would be quite unusual for it to be an Apple ID that the phone was not logged in to before you restored it.

If you are the original owner of the phone and purchased it directly from Apple (and can prove it with the receipt) Apple may be willing to remove activation lock→Start an Activation Lock Support Request

Can you provide more context? What specifically did you do, and what was the message displayed after you did it?

You will have to recover access to the account you were using on it.

The only other alternative is to produce the original receipt for the phone to have the activation lock removed by Apple.
