Washed out colours on Dell monitor when connected to M1 iPad Pro?

Hi,

I bought a Dell 1080p monitor yesterday and connected to my M1 iPad Pro. When connected the colours on the monitor looks washed out? The monitor is a VA panel so the blacks should be fairly deep. I connect the ipad to my LG 4k TV and the colours look as it should. I connect my old windows laptop to the new monitor and the colours look normal as it should. I’m thinking its to do with the input colour format. When i connect the iPad to the monitor my monitor displays RGB format. However when i connect my old Windows laptop to the monitor it changes to YCBCR format and the colours looks so much better on the monitor. I need some advice on what my options are? Is there a way to change the input colour format on the iPad to YCBCR instead of RGB on the iPad? I am running the latest iPadOS 16.2
