Forwarding graphics in Ventura 13.1
Guys and Girls,
Ever since I've upgraded to Ventura 13.1 I have not been able to forward pictures or videos in Apple Mail.
Do I have to alter a System Setting?
Thanks, Phil

Now I see what it's doing. When I create a forwarded message, the images are not included. Then when I fill in a To Address, they pop up. Weird logic, but I guess I can deal with that.
Edit: Now I see the Edit>Include Attachments with Replies menu item. It appears this affects Forwarding behavior as well as Replies. If I change it to Always, it includes attachments on both replies and forwards, even before filling in an address. If I recall, in the past, it always included attachments on Forwards, but Replies were handled separately per this selection.
I wasn't aware of 13.2. This is not listed on the change description, but might help. Haven't tried it yet.

Have just attempted similar but Not same
I sent an e-mail to my wife with a URL Not image
Now attempt to Forward same e-mail again
Below is what I am getting
Perhaps you need, in you case, is to get the URL from the image and include that in the Forwarded e-mail ?
I do know the Other Contributor 😀 is perhaps more experienced on these types and other types of issue, though.
I am having the same problem since upgrading to 13.1. This is not related to linked images, it happens with embedded, attached images and other files. I found the "include attachments" icon in the toolbar, but it is always grayed out.
That was never a requirement before 13.1. I don't want to include attachments with replies, so I guess I'll put it back to "when adding recipients." I've been looking for the answer to that problem all day. The attachments used to show up as soon as you clicked "forward." ****, I wish apple would stop fixing things that aren't broke!

What exactly happens when you try?
There should be no change in this regard…
It just shows a reference to the pictures or the video. The rest of the text is ok.
Is the picture or Video an actual File contained in the original e-mail or a place holder to a Link ( URL )
I believe it’s a placeholder it says image, and a reference.
Is it possible that updating to Ventura 13.2 might help?
Well, I've been out of town for a few days and couldn't keep up with this thread but it looks like Mike AZ has figured it out. Thanks, Mike.
Love this forum.
Phil
Great information! Saved me much aggravation.
Thanks!
