Re-asking about iOS 16.x and HDMI/Lightning support issues re: Spectrum and Amazon Prime apps
The other community questions seemingly have non- or dissatisfying answers and have been closed. I use an iPad connected through the HDMI to Lightning connector to a projector as my TV. It has worked beautifully until this latest upgrade. Now both the Amazon Prime Video and the Spectrum TV apps are unwatchable (no audio and jittery video) when connected. Other apps (HBO, Apple TV+, Disney+) continue to function well, and both problematic apps work fine when the iPad is not connected. Each company blames the other and the community responses are unhelpful.
