Search for something like "random variable" in Google and click the Wikipedia hit. The page does not get viewed in full window size of Safari horizontally. I mean the page does not extend from the left all the way to the right margin of Safari but it is centered and there is a lot of white space on the left and rights margins. Why is this happening?

You may see a toggle button on the bottom right corner of Wikipedia that allows you to adjust that behavior.
To verify, is this behavior happening with any other websites?

Indeed there is a toggle button and when I click on it, it does solve what I considered as "problem". So you did answer my question. Thanks a lot. Though I have no idea what this toggle button is for and why it appears for the Wikipedia page.
Please ignore this thread. The answer is that Wikipedia has updated its layout and hence my question. I do not know if there is a fix but the problem is not Safari.
