My Airpods Pro Gen2 will not update to new firmware 5B59

Pity because unfortunately they are full of issues. Random disconnection, battery drain problems even charging problems like putting the two airpods back in case and after say a couple oh hours of not using them, surprise...the left one several times was showing 61% battery. Speechless. Frustrated. Regretting selling my pro first gen to buy those. I don't believe apple service will assist so I am thinking of selling them and go back at pro 1.

Pro 2 just suck. Unacceptable from apple. Don't know if it is a software issue but they suck.

yes our pro gen 2s have the H2 chip and like I said the update was bugs with the H1 chip. Again this is why I’m guessing it hasn’t been released for APP2. Hard to get details out of Apple about the updates.

That is correct. The 5B59 update does not apply to AirPods Pro 2nd generation.

When can we expect airpod pro second gen to be updated??

When Apple releases a firmware update for them.

5B59 has not been released yet for airpods pro 2. generation. only released for airpods 2/3 and airpods pro 1. Gen

I was told 5B59 would not be coming to AirpodsPro gen 2. It supposedly has something to do with the H1 chip which is why all the other models received it and not them.

Same for me and it’s been a long while now since the 5B59 update released for every other air pods apart from the Air pods pro (2nd Gen)

I am very disappointed with my air pod pro 2. The Bluetooth connectivity is very poor. I have air pods which are much better.

How can Apple be made to feel pressured to fix it.?
