Can't accept the Terms and Conditions during Password Reset in Ventura

Hi Community:


Recently upgraded my M1 MacBook Air to Ventura but forgot my device password.


I'm trying to reset the password using my Apple Id, however the Terms and Conditions section has a non-clickable 'Agree' button in gray. How can I solve this?


I tried downloading the latest version of Ventura, but the system keeps asking me for the device password to proceed.

If the terms of agreement are shown on the screen scroll down to the bottom and see if there's a checkbox to check before the Agree button becomes active.

simply a password change.. did you scroll to the bottom/read the terms.... can you agree now?



Upgrading—

click on the back button and sign out of your Apple ID. Skip signing in. Sign in once the setup process is completed, then you can accept Terms & Conditions.
