Bring your Mac to the appointment, and bring your original receipt or invoice as proof of purchase.

If it was refurbished by Apple or an authorized reseller it should not have a firmware password.

Who did you purchase it from?

Call then and ask for the password?

If they can't provide it return it for a full refund and get one from Apple.
