photo and apple watch 8

it is possible to take photos using the apple watch without  an iphone with me?

Watches don't have their own cameras 'yet' so I believe that the answer to your question is "No".


You can use your watch to take a picture but it's the phone's camera lens that would be taking the shot.

Can this be done remotely when your phone is no where around? I don't know, I've never tried it!

My Series 8 watch has cellular, so maybe 🤔
