Apple TV streaming fail

Apple TV won't work on my Roku Express OR as an app on my smart TV. I've rebooted my router, rebooted my Roku, removed and reinstalled the ATV app on the Roku, and NOTHING has worked.

"Network Unavailable" or variations of this are what appears. What am I paying for?

Apple TV + not working on Roku I get a “Video not available. If this continues check your internet connection” on Apple TV on my Roku. All other streaming apps work perfectly. And I can stream Apple TV on my Mac at home using the same internet. This seems to be an issue many have asked about. What gives? Apple TV+ intermittently tells me 'video not available' streaming through Roku I attempted to continue watching Ted Lasso, and it appears to start, but then stops and says video not available. I've checked my network, and can watch any number of other streaming services on the roku, so it's not my wifi. This happened some before watching anything, and I read things about resetting the resolution, and *something* worked, as I watched the first season. Literally between episodes the problem resurfaced, and no combination of resetting settings or apps seems to work. This looks like it's been a problem for apple tv for well over a year at least. Also: there seems to be no tag for the streaming service--I had to choose an apple device to tag this question even though it doesn't apply.
