When i go to upload photos from my iphone x to an app it says photos too large (4.5MB) whereas the max upload is 2.5MB as a JPEG. There is no option when I email the photo to my gmail account, or share on airdrop to reduce the size to small, med, large like there used to be. I cannot figure out how to reduce the image size in the photos app.

When you share the image by Mail on your iPhone, the menu to select the size of the attachment should appear, after you compose the mail and tap the blue uparrow to send it. It is a bot confusing, that we have to send the message, before we can specify the size of the attachment.
Once the message has been composed and is ready to go, I am seeing a choice of four sizes after pushing the send arrow.
