Airpods Pros Gen 1 Audio Balance Issue

Whenever I connect my Airpods Pros, the left earbud always plays louder than the left, I have to go into bluetooth and disconnect them and reconnect them to get them to play audio properly balanced. If I take one out, and put it back in, the side that was taken out plays quieter, and if I don’t play anything for a while, the left will player louder when I play something.

This issue has been persisting for a few months now but it’s becoming worse. I checked the audio balance in the settings and it is in the center, I have tried re-pairing them as well, nothing seems to fix the issue, does anyone have any thoughts?

Hey Sogiq91,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. We understand that your left AirPod Pro plays louder than the right. We'd like to help!

Does this only occur when connected to a specific device? Are you able to test on other devices?

It sounds like you've already reset your AirPods and checked audio settings. If you haven't already, we recommend cleaning your AirPods to see if you notice an improvement. Here's how: How to clean your AirPods, AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and EarPods - Apple Support
