Unlocking iMac with no keyboard connection

How can I unlock my iMac if it is not communicating with the keyboard? The keyboard is charged. My mouse can select me as user but I cannot fill in the unlock code

iMac 24″, macOS 13.1

Try plugging the keyboard in with the charging cable.
