Apple Music on Macbook Pro (M1 Max) laggy and stutters

Hi,

Recently I have been noticing really bad performance on Apple Music. I have a Macbook Pro 16" with M1 Max and 64BG memory, and it is really quit odd that performance on Apple Music is so crappy.

I notice that when I am playing a playlist and start coding or start browsing websites at some points, the music that is playing starts stuttering and lagging. As if I am working on an outdated laptop, which is not the case.

This is becoming so frustrating and annoying that I am really reconsidering my Apple Music subscription and whether to keep it or not.

I have restarted my laptop have upgraded all the software and Mac Os to the latest, but the problem still persists.

On Reddit I have seen threads about the same issue and no one seems to have a solution. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

1.Start up your Mac in safe mode. Completing this step can help you identify whether issues you’re experiencing are caused by software that loads as your Mac starts up. Your screen may flash and load slower. This is expected behavior for this mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac

2. Verify if the issue occurs in a new user account. This will allow you to determine if the behavior is specific to your account or if it is a system wide issue: Add a user or group on Mac
