How can I point TV.app on my ipadOS 16.2 iPad toward a video file stored on the iPad? The video file is shown in a folder called Temp in the Files app when I select On My iPad. In other words, I haven't been able to find a way to select the file in the Files app and use Share to play the file in the TV app. Maybe I should keep looking, but I've grown impatient. Thanks.
Still unable to open a local video file using the TV app, but VLC lets me do it. In the main window of VLC, however, I found I have to use "Network", and from there I can choose "Local files". I remember when seeing "Apple" in products' names or descriptions meant having more intuitive solutions than that. I'd still like to find out how to use the TV app, although VLC will probably turn out to provide a better overall solution once I can get past the counterintuitive schema.
