Block unwanted emails

I used to be able to BLOCK unwanted emails that made it into my inbox by tapping the forward arrow, scrolling to the bottom and tapping “Block Sender”. (A red circle with a line through it would appear so I knew it was blocked.) All of a sudden, my iPhone lost that capability! WHY…and how do I get it back?

Hello NikkiSpringer,

Thank you for posting to the Apple Support Communities.

You can still block a contact in the latest version of the iOS Mail app. Please review the following Apple Support article: Block phone numbers, contacts, and emails on your iPhone or iPad

From the Mail app, open the email that has the contact that you want to block, then tap the contact at the top. Tap Block this Contact.

Have a great day!
