‘Too many devices to play offline content’

Hi i get the message

‘Too many devices to play offline content’ when i try to download music on my new iPhone 14. I have 6 devices + 1 of my partner on our apple family account. I checked and we can have up to 10 devices at the same time… i keep getting the error message.. even if I restart Apple Music or the phone..

You've taken a couple great steps already with your iPhone 14. Besides restarting, another step you can take is to ensure your iPhone 14 is fully up-to-date. As updating to the latest version of iOS can sometimes resolve unexpected issues. If needed, the steps below show how:

"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."
