Facebook jumps or scrolls down page (on Safari only, multiple iPads) works fine with other browsers

Why Facebook support? Seems like a Safari problem... works fine on PC and on other browsers... just not on iPad with Safari. Another check... it appears to be "Safari with iOS 16 or above". Tried it with an older iOS/Safari and no problems.
Jumps to new tab but I can't see all of the page. Can't see other comments. Been like this for a week now. Just spent an hour setting up my browser preferences, etc. on Chrome. Works fine with Chrome. Suggest we all ditch Safari whilst Apple get their ridiculous act together and tell us it is fixed.
