When I look for a note, "list title" is helpful.
Sometime I want change it but I can't change.
I used to make notes in the format of "body only" way.
So I changed the format of the first line from body to title (1.select the 1s line>Format>Title), but "list title" diden't chabge. What this means is that "title" is not "list title".
I want to know how to change "list title". Do you have the same problem?

I am seeing no change... macOS 13.1 ie Same problem when I test.
From Settings>New Note Starts> Title No change in behavior...
you can file a bug report /submit your Apple Feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple
You can however create a new folder and drop you note(s) into that folder with a title of your choice.
