Airpods showing all the time in the battery widget

I've been experiencing a software bug, the battery widget shows my AirPods pro 2 battery all the time, even with the lid closed. The widget shows the battery of the case on one circle and then the battery of the AirPods on another one even tho they are inside the case and the lid is closed. This happens on all of my devices, iPhone and iPad alike.

I've already tried removing and then re-adding the widget and reseting my AirPods, none of those solutions worked.

In this image you will see how the AirPods are charging because they're inside of the case and the lid is closed.

This appears to be expected behavior with the new iOS software. The battery widget lets you know the percentage the case is currently on and the percentage for the AirPods. If this is something you'd like to see changed, then please leave feedback here: Product Feedback - Apple
