To start off with, we'd like to make sure it is clear that one iPhone can keep the Apple ID and one will need a new one. The new ID will not have access to the purchases and iCloud saved data that was tied to the original Apple ID. It is also important to note that apps downloaded on the original Apple ID will need to be deleted and redownloaded on the new Apple ID. While they will not stop working, you will run into issues when it come time to update them.
Having said all that, please follow these articles to sign out of your Apple ID on the device you wish to change and create a new Apple ID, then sign in with it:
