I love the ability to use car play for maps but I do not want my audio to come through the car speakers. How can I switch? I enjoy scrolling through you tube and TT and don’t need the sound blasting through the car while my toddler is watching his ipad and other riders are on their phone.

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.
When connecting to CarPlay, all sound will automatically go through the Car speakers. You will not be able to direct the sound to another device while connected to Car Play.
