Watch won’t ping phone

Hi Guys,

All of a sudden for no reason my watch won’t ping my phone. Which I use all the time as I’m always leaving it around the house. Now the 1st thing your thinking is the phone isn’t connected to the watch but here’s the problem it is???

Any tip or help would be very grateful received.

Hi Steve,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We suggest restarting both devices to help with this trouble you're having. Follow the steps provided in the Apple Support articles: Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

2. Press and hold the side button until you see the power button  in the upper-right corner of the display.
3. Tap the power button.
4. Drag the Power Off slider.
5. After your watch turns off, press and hold the side button again until you see the Apple logo.
