Apple TV remote unpairing

My Apple TV remote keeps unpairing from the device. Is this happening to anyone else? And what can I do about it?

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 16

Try restarting just the remote, and pair it again, as described in: If your Siri Remote or Apple TV Remote isn't working - Apple Support

If the issue persists after that, then contact Apple Support.

Same here. Just happened yesterday for the first time. Had to restart the Apple TV and it worked again. (Not sure if this means the issue is on the Apple TV side versus the remote itself).
