You installed something which runs things in the background. You presumably installed that software for a reason. Turning off the background task will stop it from performing the task for which you installed it. That software was always running a background task before Ventura, you were just unaware.
Ventura now shows you what is running in the background and notifies you when the software tries to run the background process. It should record your response and act accordingly, but it was written before Apple implemented this security feature, and the developer either didn’t update their software during Apple’s Beta testing, or they have abandoned the software, or they did update it and you haven’t updated your version.
Or, there is a glitch in Ventura that only happens for certain people.
The only way you may be able to determine the name of the offending app is to run EtreCheck to see what you have installed that is running a Launch Agent or Daemon.
You can then try uninstalling that software using the developer’s uninstaller or instructions. You can then try reinstalling if you need it, or not if you don’t.
Open and osascript are built-in functions, so those names have nothing to do with the software you are looking for. The software just runs those tools on the background to perform the functions you asked it to do for you.
