Problem when Action Mode turned on (an over scanning shadow?)

When I turn on action mode for the video, a moving shadow appears again and again moving from left side of the screen to the right. The shadow disappears if I turn the action mode off, and comes back again when turning on. Is this a problem with the overscan system of my phone? Did anyone else come across this problem as well?

As I cannot post video here, here are some screen shots of my video:

Hi momokoso,

Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities!

We understand a shadow is recorded in your videos in only one video mode, correct?

Do you experience the same behavior after you restart your iPhone? If you need help to restart your iPhone, this article will guide you: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

If you're still seeing the same shadow after restarting, check out the additional troubleshooting steps outlined here such as removing any accessories and cleaning your iPhone: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working - Apple Support

"Remove case, accessory, or film and test

  1. Remove any case, accessory, or film that might block the camera or flash or that places a magnet near the camera.
  2. Test the camera by trying to take a photo.
  3. Test the LED flash:
    1. Try the flashlight in Control Center on your iPhone or Control Center on your iPad. On an iPhone X or later or an iPad, swipe down from the upper-right corner of the screen. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, swipe up from the bottom edge of any screen.
    2. Tap the Flashlight button Flashlight icon.

If the flash works only sometimes, open the Camera app and tap the flash button  to choose a different setting.
