Custom email domain keeps disappearing

On my Mac, the ability to send emails from my custom email domain account keeps disappearing in the mail app - and on iCloud.com.

One day it's there, the next it isn't.

Meanwhile, this doesn't happen on my iPhone.

I can receive email just fine, but there appears to be absolutely no way to compose email for my custom account on my Mac or via iCloud.com when it disappears.

Sometimes logging out of my iCloud account works, other times it doesn't.

Hi gar1013,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

With your custom domain disappearing and reappearing, make sure that your computer has been restarted and running the latest software update for the most recent performance fixes.

On your Mac, open the Mail app then choose Mail >Preferences. Click Accounts, then select your iCloud account in the sidebar. Under Account Information, make sure that the account is turned on and the status is online.

This information can be found If iCloud Mail isn't working.

If the behavior continues, contact Apple Support for additional help.
