Facetime calls shutting down ENTIRE PHONE

iPhone 13 Pro running iOS 16.2 - within the past few weeks has SHUT DOWN completely during a Facetime call: not dropping the call, not the screen going black - the whole phone powers off instantly and then restarts itself. Problem appears to have started since updating to 16.2. No other apps or call types are affected. Are there any other reports of this? What is the fix?

Update to this: the shutdown thing happens when FaceTiming with my mom's old iPad which cannot run the current iPadOS. I have no problems FaceTiming with devices that are on the current iOS. That leads me to think hardware is not the issue.

Yes - just had the same thing today. This happened last week as well. First I answered a FT call on my MacStudio running Ventura 13.1. After starting the call - the computer froze which almost never happens... then restarted my Mac!!!

Then the same person calls me back and I answer it on my iPhone 14 Pro Max running 16.2. Same thing - say hello, see the person - boom. Phone turns black and stays off until I manually power it back on.

Now today - phone does same thing.

Clearly a new Bug that is also affecting Ventura!
