Cannot change user login password
I am unable to change the user password for my Mac mini. My account is listed as admin, mobile, and when I try to change it I get a message saying "The server is not available".

The Mobile part indicates you are bound to some sort of network user, like Active Domain. If you are, you must be connected to that domain to change password. If you should not be bound to a network login, I don’t know how to unbind you.
Is the Mac mini connected to the Internet either wired or wireless? Try also to log out of the apple id and then back in to check, by going to System Settings and clicking your name at the top.
Since this is a computer I use at home, I should not be bound to any kind of network login. Anyone have an idea how to unbind? When I look in Directory Utility, unbind is not an option (only bind).
It's connected via wireless. I tried logging out of my Apple ID and back in, and I still could not change my password.
