App Store Notification Pop-Up Appears Every Time App Store is Opened

This issue just started after I began an Apple Arcade free trial. Every time I open the App Store app now, this pop-up appears about enabling notifications. However, I already have all notifications for the App Store enabled.

Disabling and re-enabling the notifications does nothing. I have also quit the App Store app, signed out of the App Store, and restarted my iPhone, however the pop-up still continues to appear every time the app is opened.

iPhone SE, iOS 16

Hello Cevan77,

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities.

Just to confirm, do you tap “Not Now” each time the message comes up? If not, let’s try tapping that so you can tell the phone you don’t want to enable them now.

Also, since this started after signing up for the Apple Arcade trial, it’s possible that it is specific to that. If you tap on “Enable now”, does it take you to the same screen in settings where you have notifications turned on already?

You can learn more about changing and setting notifications here: Change notifications settings on iPhone

Kindest regards.
