Prior to the December 2022 statement I was able to download .QBO files to my desktop and import them into Quickbooks For Mac Desktop 2021. However, every time I try and import the December 2022 file my Quickbooks For Mac Desktop 2021 hangs and I have to force quit the program. I have updated both my Macbook Pro software and Quickbooks software to the latest version and restarted my computer several times.

Contact QuickBooks:
Seems you have a corrupt install. So ask QuickBooks for a new license key. Once you get the new key, you'd: Uninstall the app > Restart the Mac > Install the App > Restart the Mac > Use the App.

I don’t think it’s corrupt as the file works perfectly otherwise. I have tried rebuilding and verifying data without issue. My guess is that it has to do with a compatibility issue between Mac OS and QuickBooks.

Look at the original packing, and see what it mentions for compatibility.

A Corrupt Install, it does Seem:
Contact Quickbooks, requiring a new license key. Frankly, I think it is a corrupt install. Look into it. It can't hurt. Use the Contact Us button on this link: Contact QuickBooks Desktop support - Quick Books
Try opening the file as another user, does it do the same?
The 2021 version is compatible. I appreciate your suggestions but hoping to hear from someone that is familiar with this specific issue.
The program works fine and I have not had any issues with prior statements. The install is not corrupt.
Only have an admin user. There are no other user profiles. I don’t think this would resolve it as it is not a permission issue.
