Dark mode problem

Hi all!

I just purchased my iPhone 14th max. I’ve adjusted some settings and it keeps going back to dark mode. I don’t like dark mode. How can I keep it light mode for ever?

iPhone "Dark" mode. Guys and Girls, My recent problem is that since I've upgraded my iPhone 11 to iOS 16.3 I can't get it out of "Dark" mode. I reboot and it's ok until I enter my first app and then it goes dark again. Any ideas? Phil

When you open the Settings App > Display & Brightness > Tap Light and make sure Automatic is turned off
