Watch - iCloud Family pairing error

Hi I’m looking for some help. I’m setting up a new watch for a family member to be paired with my phone.

I have tried multiple times to pair but receive a “Could not connect to iCloud Family” message.

I have created family sharing under my Apple ID. My Apple ID is also setup with two step authentication. I tried to reset my iPhone, check wifi connection, turn off all other Bluetooth device. None works. I am using iPhone 14, IOS 17, for Apple Watch 9. I even tried with my wife’s iPhone and with her Apple ID, the error message still pop up the same. has anyone experienced the same? appreciate any advice. lala

Pairing Apple Watch for family member error message com.apple.family.error 1002 I am trying to pair an apple watch to my phone for a family member and keep receiving this message "com.apple.family.error 1002". The only option is to press OK and the watch then unpairs. Has anyone had the same error message? How have you managed to resolve it? I have been to the apple shop and been put onto apple support who had not heard of this error message before

Error occurs when trying to Set-up family sharing on my son's Apple Watch I purchased an Apple Watch SE (2nd gen) for my 11 year old son. He does not have an Iphone of his own, so i am trying to set the watch up on family sharing. When following the steps, I keep getting an error message when I try to log on with his user name and password. The error I keep getting is "Could Not Sign In" The operation couldnt be completed. (CDPStateError error -2). I have tried troubleshooted the issue by downloading the latest software update to the Watch. I have tried turning location services off on Watch and turning Wifi off on my phone during the set up process. These are remedies that others mentioned had helped them but nothing is working for me. It appears this has been an issue with the Watch for a few months for Apple watch purchasers wanting to do the family set up. Has Apple or anyone found any real solutions? Concentrate on anything that may interfere with web servers such as VPN or security apps on the iphone. Remove them.
