Add more People to Wallpaper iOS16

Hey there,

I am using the changing wallpaper feature from iOS16.

When I choose picture shuffle and try to add people to selection, only 9 are listed. However in my gallery there are several more. I would really like to add them too. Is there any way to change or update the listings?

I really appreciate your help!

Regards

iPhone 14, iOS 16

Hi Idomeneus3,

We understand wanting all of the 'people' in your photo library to populate when you're customizing your Lock screen and wallpaper. Often times, software updates includes fixes for unexpected behavior. Let's ensure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS 16. Update your iPhone or iPad will walk you through backing up and updating your iPhone.

"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
  5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do."

If you continue to see the same issue after updating, contact Apple Support.

Cheers!
