My Apple Watch Series 3 will not update

Let's first be sure your iPhone is updated completely and this isn't related to an outdated version of iOS. Here's how to Update your iPhone or iPad.

Also restart both devices:

1. Restart your iPhone
2. Restart your Apple Watch

Test the update on another Wi-Fi network will also help isolate the issue further.

If that doesn't work, go to the Apple Watch app on the iPhone and General > Storage. Delete any update or partial update that may be there and try updating once more with the Apple Watch on the charger.

If the issue continues, please contact Apple Support for a deeper dive.
