Apple TV

Apple TV works well on my laptop but not on my tv even though everything seems to be properly set up and the light is showing on the small box (in fact I can't turn it off). It worked well in the past but now has gone to sleep. Suggestions please.

Apple TV HD, tvOS 15

If the status light is glowing continuously on the front of the Apple TV box, then it is on and active, not asleep.

Verify that the TV is set to take input from the HDMI port to which the Apple TV is connected.

Verify that both ends of the HDMI cable connect firmly in their respective ports. Disconnect and re-connect if needed.

If the issue persists, then try restarting both the TV and Apple TV box. For devices without an on|off switch, disconnect from power for a minute or so.
