Sleep tracking does not capture awake periods
I was excited to get an Apple Watch for Christmas as sleep is problematic for me. At a high level the information is useful, but I think it grossly overstates the amount of sleep I get. If I spend an hour trying to get back to sleep it doesn't count that as "awake". If I look at the clock at 3am, it doesn't count that as awake.
I don't expect it to be magic. But if I wake up exhausted and it tells me I had 7hrs and 30min of sleep, well that's just useless.
Is this not other people's experience?
