How to remove Face ID because no longer works

How can Face ID be removed from phone. No longer active

To disable Face ID on an iPhone, open the Settings app and tap on Face ID & Passcode. Enter your passcode and then turn off the toggle for iPhone Unlock. Alternatively, you can Reset Face ID. If Face ID isn’t working on your iPhone or iPad Pro – Apple Support (UK)
