Apple Watch Via Family Sharing Not Syncing Contacts with iCloud

Hey community, I recently setup three new watches for my kids via Family Sharing. Each kid has their own iCloud account. Two of the watch setups went smoothly, the third however is a bit frustrating. I can update the child's contact list with my phone just fine. Their iCloud account syncs those contacts just fine. However...

The Contacts app on the watch won't sync the contacts. The watch is signed in and shows up and respond to Find My.

I've reset, restarted, turned contact syncing off and on on the watch, unpaired and repaired the watch and just nothing.

Any suggestions?

Update:


I've synced an old iPhone with her account and checked iCloud settings there too. Nothing.


My account when managing contacts won't update her iCloud either.


I've reset, restarted, turned contact syncing off and on on the watch, unpaired and repaired the watch and just nothing.


It doesn't seem iCloud is connecting properly with contacts. Yet, authorizations and backups appear to be working just fine.


Any suggestions?
