MacBook Pro is asking for pin to connect Rocketfish Apple bluetooth mouse.

I purchased a new MacBook Pro and am trying to get my old bluetooth mouse to connect but the MacBook is asking for a pin. Is there any way to get a pin or get around this and get them to pair? I have tried generic pins like: 0000, 1234, 9999, etc.

I have tried the last 4 of the mouse SN and the whole SN as well.

Have you tried simply leaving the PIN request field blank? IE don't provide anything. Just go past that point assuming you can?


Actually it would help if you provided a screen grab of what you see. Use the "image insertion" option at the bottom of the reply field as shown below:
