Can't see my taskbar when iTunes is open!

When iTunes is open on my computer, I am unable to un-hide my taskbar at the bottom of the screen. Have tried everything with no success. So I have to minimize iTunes every time I want to see my taskbar. This is the only program where I have this problem. Any suggestions??

Windows, Windows 10

Hi Decker18,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

The only settings with the taskbar you can control in iTunes can be found here: Change Advanced preferences in iTunes on PC

"To change these preferences, choose Edit > Preferences, then click Advanced"

Regarding the taskbar, this is what can be changed:

"Show iTunes icon in system tray

Display the iTunes icon in the notifications area of the Windows taskbar.

Minimize iTunes window to system tray

Minimize the iTunes window to the notifications area.

This option is only available when you show the iTunes icon in the system tray."

For any other questions involving the Windows taskbar, we'd recommend reaching out to Microsoft Support.

Have a fantastic day!

It sounds like your iTunes window might be oversized, and reusing stored coordinates. Can you not find one edge of the iTunes window that will let you move it slightly to resize it, or can you move it by dragging the top status bar area? At the top right, just to left of the X to close iTunes should be a square(ish) maximise/restore switch. Does clicking this help at all?
