I just got the Iphone 14 pro max. When I went to bed last night i put it on charge and now it has a black screen and will not come one

Force Restart your iPhone:
- Press and quickly release the volume up button
- Then press and quickly release the volume down button
- Then press and hold the side power button. Keep holding it for several seconds (can take up to 30 seconds, so keep holding it) and don't let go until you see the Apple Logo, then let go
If you haven't already, update your new iPhone to iOS 16.2.
