Apple Watch don’t set up for a Family Member
I want to set up Apple Watch series 8 (watchOS9) with iPhone 11 (iOS 16.2) for my Family Member, who don’t have iPhone. But I see this message. Why and what can i do to set up?

Hi My_marty,
We'll be glad to help out with this. As stated by the message, you can't set up that watch model for use without an iPhone because it isn't a GPS + Cellular model. Your family member would either need to get an iPhone to pair it with, or get a GPS + Cellular model to be set up standalone.
