Apple ID password reset
If a child has lost their and the parent decides to buy one and needs to reset the password without the existing device

It should be easy to reset your password when you visit https://appleid.apple.com/
Click on sign in > Forgot Apple ID or password? > Enter your apple id > type the picture characters and click on continue to reset the password
