Storage not available for Mac OS after removing Boot Camp partition

Hello everyone,

I had a Book Camp partition with Windows 8 on my Macbook Pro 15" 2017 (Mac OS 13.1 and 512 GB Storage) which I don't needed anymore. When I tried to remove the partition using Boot Camp Assistent some error message appeared that unfortunately I can't remember. Now the partition seems to be uninstalled but still there are only 371 GB storage available for Mac OS instead of the 512 GB my macbook has. The storage that was used by the partition seems to have disappeared.

Can anybody help me with that? Please tell me if you need any details or screenshots.

Best

Franz

Actually I did it from macOS recovery and everything looked like in the screenshots of the instructions you sent...

Anyway I just found the solution! I restarted my mac from recovery mode, then selected the Macintosh HD volume and clicked on partition. There I could delete the free space that was once used by the boot camp partition clicking on minus. Now the whole storage of my hard drive is reallocated to Macintosh HD.

Thanks very much for your help though!
