How to remove Home accessory from Control Center?

An accessory of the Home app that is in Control Center doesn't work, although the accessory works in the Home app and a shortcut to the accessory and a widget to the accessory all work. How do I fix that accessory in Control center or remove it from control center.

Also, when I remove Home from Control Center by removing Home from the Settings for Control Center in Settings, neither the accessory or Home is removed from Control Center.

It sounds like this might be an issue with the accessory or Control Center if it's not working as expected.

Try using the guidance below to help with your accessories first:

• Update your iPhone or iPad to the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.

• Make sure that your accessories support HomeKit, AirPlay 2, or Matter.

• To use and manage your home in the Home app on all of your devices, sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID on every device. Then turn on iCloud Keychain and Home in iCloud Settings.

Add an accessory to the Home app
