What RAM Memory can I use in a late 2012 Mac mini?

I have an old MAC Mini late 2012. It has been in storage for the last 6 years. Now trying to upgrade just to use for video editing and to let the children do some coding.

Back in 2015 i upgraded 8GB of Ram - with the DDR3 chip. This is now not in production. What is the recommended chip i should use to increase the GB - and what is the maximum which people think i can use.

thank you

16GB is the max that a Late 2012 Mac mini can take.

OWC and Crucial sell RAM upgrades for the 2012 Mac mini.
