My Siri opens and closes immediately when i say “Hey Siri” or press the home button. It can’t do anything.

How do i fix this? My Siri opens and closes immediately when i say “Hey Siri” or press the home button and when it doesn’t close immediately it’s unable to do what i ask it to. For example tell me the time or call someone. It can’t do anything and says “sorry something went wrong try again later”
