If you want to know the iOS version currently running on it:

Settings>General>About>Software version

If you want to know the most recent iOS version supported by your iPhone model 8: 16.2

If you want to know how to update your device:--> Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you mean something different, please specify your needs better.

Ally ~ The version of iOS your iPhone 8 Plus is running can be found here:

Settings > General > About > Software Version

And the latest version is iOS 16.2.
